The security architecture working group is providing a platform for security architects in Melbourne to meet peers and exchange ideas to improve their security architecture delivery capabilities.

Meetings are organised by the ISACA Melbourne Chapter, the venue is sponsored by Deloitte Risk Advisory, and sessions are facilitated by Andreas Dannert, Immediate Past President of the ISACA Melbourne Chapter and Enterprise Security Architect within Deloitte Risk Advisory.

Attendees are encouraged to bring an open mind and willingness to share their experiences in order for everyone to get value out of these meetings.

Meeting Topic: The value of Security Capability Models

Given the latest SABSA white paper on a SABSA Security Services Catalogue and our recent session on security services this session will explore the idea of a security capability model. We will explore varies aspects of such a capability model, including the differences and alignment to a service catalogue and a business capability model.

Whether you attended the last session or not will not impact your ability to participate in this session, but you might get even more out of this session if you attended the last one. In any case, we recommend that you have a look at the SABSA white paper, as per the link above, since it will provide you with some ideas around the topic, which will enable you to get even more out of this session.

Chatham House Rules

All working group sessions are held under “Chatham House Rules“. Please be mindful of this when attending the meetings.
